Promise Neighborhood Initiative of the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle

Promise Neighborhood Initiative
Anti-poverty outcomes: To provide families with the resources, tools and opportunities to improve their lives.
In order to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty, PNI realizes that it must provide a “cradle to career” continuum of educational and community supports that gives poor children the opportunity to achieve long-term economic success. To meet this challenge, PNI learns from the comprehensive community-change initiatives from across the nation and adapts those practices that best fit our local situation.
